Here is that little bracket , luckily it just needed a clean up , I made a new chassis section under this part , then fabricated the support bracket in the link that was given , albeit totally different to it !

It's not that great to be honest , the gas started to run out , I'm going to need a new bottle.after fitting the leg and giving it a grind up , I cut the new inner arch , not in half ,just the front quarter of it , I cut it there because it should look tidier looking from the boot , the join will be hidden by the seats.( I cut it because it didn't fit at the front ) also it would be a lot stronger fitting as much of the back of the arch as possible , with no cuts and joints in the boot area.here it is clamped up.

And the hole do line up very well , thank god i measured it more then once ! Also th panel section at the bump stop area clamped up with no fuss at all , I'm just hoping that little bracket will do its job , but I think I may beef it up a bit .

I hate that moment when the gas runs out and you try to just finish the last past before realising it looks terrible. There are not that many modern panel beaters with the patience for a decent restoration, let alone admit that it's not what they thought it would be. The finished car will be a credit to you.

Hi all, I managed to get my gas on Friday, and iv sorted out the leaking pipe,I think I must have wasted a fare bit of gas, bit managed to weld nearly half the car with it , hopefully I won't need another bottle, today iv welded in the inner arch, and started welding the rear lip as well , here are some photos.

Also iv been thinking about the seatbelt top anchor point in the pillar, there isn't one and I was wondering where to fit it in the pillar ? Any help on the measurements and where to find a plate with a fixed nut on it ,would be very much appreciated?

It didn't fit very well but I wasn't expecting it to really , on the photo above you can see the gap between the bulk head area, it clamped up ok but it worried me a little,

The plug welds in the passenger compartment, if you check back on this project you'll find a photo of this area of the floor , showing the holes for the gearbox cover. The floor didn't fit the original chassis holes so I had to make do with the holes slightly out of line, well when fitting the new one it seemed the same , so it looks like il be filing a few holes to get the gearbox cover fitted.
