Beautiful - well done! Are those LP917 van wheels, and where did you get the steering wheel cover?

Yes the wheels are 4.5" van wheels. I got them from ESM, but they had to be shot blasted and repainted as the paint as supplied is very poor (and didn't match the body). They call them "B stock", as non-seconds are not available, but I seriously doubt that their existing supplier can do anything else.
Glad you noticed the hand stitched Italian leather steering wheel cover! £25.99 on eBay
Did you spot the period style key fob? prevents keys from jangling around and scratching the dash. Also protects your pockets! I made from a bit of left over trim.

Looks fantastic - absolutely showroom! Apart from the 2500 + hours you spent, have you an idea what it cost you?
That's strange R2, the damage doesn't look so bad from here!

The seatbelts are genuine new old stock and I got them off eBay a few years ago. Can't remember exactly, but they must have been a good price or I would not have bought them. I think they would probably be well over £100 each now.
You are right about the 2,500 hours Roger! I believe if I were to list every new part I put on the car and buy them all today, it would be well over £14,000 plus VAT!

Its guys like Neil and Taupe who have changed my rolling resto/quick tidy up into a full nuts and bolts restoration (although without their facilities or abilities.....) I think these final pictures have just added yet another year to my project

Great job Neil, full credit to you for showing how to make a new traveller! oh how I wish.. now I do like the look of the number plates you have. Where did you have them made and what size are the letters? have been thinking about putting that style of plate on my traveler for some time

The digits are 3 1/8" . However, 3 1/2" digits are also available if your car is pre 1964. I got them from Polar Automotive, just under £52 delivered. (classicplatesonline.co.uk)
Note that if your plates are for a saloon you need to order a special shape for the rear.
