And very good point, blue is popular
Which is my point, why follow the crowd......
Dark green is rare.......
Best wishes,
Mike.

Colour preferences noted! Green will be considered. :)

Just had some nice neighbours come over and 3 of us managed to flip it with ease.

See the MAJOR work on the spring hangers which I always knew about. I've got some think sheet metal and new ends, now to try work out how it could be repaired.

Forgive me if I'm stating the obvious or something you already intend doing but I'd remove that exhaust, I think you'll find it will just get in the way and it isn't needed for datum points etc.
Plus you'll probably end up needing to replace it anyway..........
On the plus side you have plenty of room there, I hope the weather holds for you.
Best wishes,
Mike.

Yes exhaust will be coming off and anything else I can get my hands on including all the brake system and replaced. This is the first time i've had access to the under side. I think I can see how I need to make the new steel plates that will support the spring hangers that have gone through. It will be a nice shape.

These are available if it helps / saves you time:

If you are renewing the brake pipes, then Kunifer is best:

I have used these before, so can recommend them.
Best wishes,
Mike.

I will order those brake pipes! Thanks you. I also have the plates for the hangers. They seem to overlap the floor and not sure about the rear one. It seems to go in as I have shown?

Managed to do some prep work after the weather was better. Getting an idea of putting new metal in to strengthen where the spring hanger plate will go.
