I've busted my knee so looking around for a carpet fitter in my area to fit some bulkhead sound deadening felt and a new pre-cut interior carpet set. I'm based in Thatcham, Berkshire (RG19 postcode)

If it's not urgent wait until your knee gets better? You'll probably do a better job, because it's yours.

Job required to be done before my knee recovers from surgery. Haven't even been given an op date yet !

Guessing that you can't drive the car until the knee's better...just put it on hold. You'll enjoy doing the job as part of your rehabilitation!

Thanks everyone for the positive words ! I have to drive the car to test the changes I've made to the alternator and also on the day of my wife's birthday. The pleasure of driving will override any discomfort.

Job done folks, I can say that there was more pleasure than pain.
