Purchased a 1952 Convertible at Hershey Car Show last year.

Deconstruction is underway.

Electrics are a mess.

Any recommendations for the best repair/restore manual?

Thanks all!

John

Hi John, Rare car there, this forum for one will help you immensely,

Try to buy the clubs service manual CD,s etc.

I have 33 years of professional bodywork and paint and Highend restoration to help you with.

And some of the guys on here are extremely good with early cars....😉

Cheers Matt

Hi

See here:

I have several of them. They all have their strengths and weaknesses.

There are some restoration threads on this forum that are both informative and inspiring. I suggest you have a look around and see if you agree.

My favorite is the Rose Taupe Traveller restoration by 'Taupe'. He is in the process of restoring hundreds of photos that were lost when when a photo hosting site changed its access arrangements. This features a Traveller that was more rust than metal. Taupe shows how to make it like new. I benefited greatly by learning methodologies and what standard of work it is possible for an amateur restorer to do.

All the best with your restoration.

Don
