Front Suspension

Post by g_land »

Folks,

I'm going putting modern shocks on the front of the traveller. Question is, is the SPAX kit really worth the extra few pounds.

Telescopic Damper Conversion Kit-Front (SPAX) £139.00
Telescopic Damper Conversion Kit-Front (GAS) £89.00

PS. I'm going the bolt on route so she can always go back to standard if i want (unlikely but i don't want to rule it out)

Thanks

George

Best conversion you can do - mine was home made, using large tele dampers intended for the rear of a Viva ! The cost = zero. Try to get a kit that does NOT use the existing damper mounting bolts. Both dampers working together gives a fabulous well damped ride - yet not 'hard'.

I expect the spax ones are adjustable do you really need adjustable dampers.
