Carb service kit

God didnt think i would be posting in here :o

Where should I get a HS2 carb service kit from please?

Spent this afternoon watching dr who, stripping it and wire wooling it - well I was watching Dr Who hubs was wire woolling, ah bless.

The majority of the main stockists sell them (ESM, Bull Motif etc etc etc).

Usually with just a good cleaning they will be fine. If throttle spindle wear is very obvious - better to get another carb really - they are plentiful! The main agents these days are BURLEN - check their website.

I had a 30 year old pair of 1.25 HS2s from a Cooper S - cleaned them up (Carb cleaner from Poundland is excellent) - and they worked brilliantly without doing any work to them other than checking the float valves were sealing.
