MG Wheels ???
Will 14" MGB GT wheels fit my Mog? I've always like the Rostyle wheel and fancy fitting some....!!!

You could try Minators like I have from Bull Motif. Fit perfectly although you may need to extend your studs - I didn't. They're 14".
Bull sell the wheels and also tyres - I just took them to a local tyre cente and they put the tyres on the rims for me. They're alloys but I think they look ok on a Minor.

Alloys are nice but I must be odd in that I prefer steels with chrome hubcaps
I've had numerous cars in the past with alloys, both original fitment and aftermarket, so have got them "out of my system". In fact on my Range Rover Vogue I replaced the alloys with earlier Rostyles as I think they looked better. My wife's Primera (inherited from her father) has standard fitment 16" alloys and I dread her kerbing them as she always seem to do with steels thus destroying (£5.99 a set) plastic hubcaps !
In fact I'm perfectly happy with standard Minor wheels albeit fitted with 155 tyres.
Told you I'm odd

I'm the same, in fact I like standard steels with 145 tyres and find it hard to understand the obsession with fitting wider ones to otherwise standard road cars. They have plenty of grip for me and I don't hang about!paulhumphries wrote:Alloys are nice but I must be odd in that I prefer steels with chrome hubcaps

If it doesn't work, you're not hitting it with a big enough hammer.
I like the look of the Minators but I think they are out of my price range. Also, as my car sits outside all the time I am worried that alloys might corrode quickly over the Winter? Would be nice to find a stylish set of steels that would look a bit different - but I guess I'm looking for the impossible!!!!

Time. I can get 155 x 14 off the shelf (albeit fromjust one place, and they're Nankangs), there's next to no chance of 145 14 even ordered in at the tyre places here.alex_holden wrote: I'm the same, in fact I like standard steels with 145 tyres and find it hard to understand the obsession with fitting wider ones to otherwise standard road cars.

The Minor specialists stock 145x15 tyres and can do next day delivery. Bull Motif even sell Bridgestones now - when I bought mine I had to order them from a German supplier and they took about a week to arrive.
