IT'S NOT A 7/16" THREAD !!!!!!!!!!!!! And NOT UNC either !!! It's a 1/4 " UNF thread........... :roll:

ESM do a full 1098 engine gasket set for less than the cost of a head set at my local factors.. Even with postage it's cheaper!

Which reminds me, I must do my head gasket, after re-using a cheapy one repeatedly when trying to get my engine to stop smoking... :oops:

If it's not broken - don't fix it! I re-used head gaskets many a time when I was a 'poor student' - in fact - I used to scrounge used ones from an older mate who was rallying a Cooper S. I worked on his car - he gave me any parts such as gaskets/valves/plugs etc etc he was throwing away!
