Does any body know the size off belt if you have an alternator on its different to the dynamo

I use 825 belt. I believe some manage to squeeze on an 813 belt - but the 825 has always been fine for me. Sorry - it's a long long time since i used a dynamo! But I think it would be fine on that too.

The dynamo has a larger pulley so it should need a longer fan belt. It depends on how much adjustment there is on the dynamo or alternator. Its a long time since I have used a dynamo on an A Series engine

I have an 838 on mine and it's fine.[frame][/frame]

Just ask for a Mini belt, with alternator fitted

Mini belt is unlikely to be correct - the Mini has a much larger water pump pulley and needs a longer belt......... From Declans picture you can see that the adjustment is out at full stretch - the 825 is the correct belt.

Yes, not much adjustment left, the 825 would indeed be better.
