By MM do you mean series MM or Morris Minor?? If it's Morris Minor then the late heaters (as fitted to 1098cc cars) are the same as MK1 Minis. The earlier cars are not though. They have the round type or none at all.

The earlier cars (series MM) either don't have a heater, or have the round recirculatory type.

This is what I've got in mine anyway:

Thats the type that came with my '53 SII, but was in the boot, not fitted. I was told it was from a later car, and found an earlier one (painted metal fron,t not black plastic) at a national rally. The car had never been factory fitted with one.

heaters

Your 53 series 2 would have had a gold coloured circular heater
finished in the gold colour to match the dashboard if it had been
ordered. The later circular heater had a black finish. I have just
fitted a late (1098) type heater in place of my original circular type
and it is quite a job because you also have to change the parcel
shelf as they vary from model to model.

That's the one I've got ready to fit now. Mind you there's a bit of work on the doilies, sorry sills before then (see the pictures in the thread about the car roller).

I don't know if I have the correct parcel shelf. I have one in the car:

But I would be replacing it with a new one if they are still available. I'm sure i've seen a few types in catalogues............

Mine should be. The dash was painted body colour by one of the previous owners!
