Cheers, I had put the spring on right then. Pretty sure ESM have sent me the wrong spring, or the mounting point on the chassis leg is in the wrong place - the adjustment on the yoke is insufficient...
Thanks again

The ESM part number for the brake pedal return spring is CBS149. Pt No: AAA599 is the part number quoted by MOSS.
The ESM part number for the clutch pedal return spring is COM130.
It is highly unlikely that the anchor point for the brake pedal return spring in the chassis is in the wrong place.
The brake pedal is constrained in its travel above the floor pan by the gearbox cover (similar to the clutch pedal). As I said in my post above only the brake application travel can be adjusted and that is not very much as you have found out. Only by cutting and splicing the brake pedal (and again only by a small amount) can you get the brake pedal further away from you.

Everything is sorted now! I hadn't realised the gearbox cover would restrain the movement of the pedal... (what an idiot! haha)
Super helpful advise everyone... That's one less job on the list hehehe
