Your car will have the brake drum integral with the hub...therefore you need another early wheel with the 4.5" PCD.

Wheels are thick metal so they can almost always be saved with some sandblasting and a new coat of good quality paint, or even better, powdercoating.
This can be more expensive than a new wheel but the result is of much higher quality.

Can you post a photo? You should be able to pick up a spare wheel.
Fitting a Series II / 948 wheel means changing the complete front swivel pin, bearing and brake assembly (you can use the same shoes). You will then have to carry two spare wheels

Powder coating is a big con-trick... It's easily chipped - and then what do you do? Dulux Gloss - mix 50/50 white and magnolia = Old English White. Lovely smooth finish and easily sorted if damaged/chipped - and a fraction of the cost.....

It was a 'general' answer re Gloss/Powder....I imagine the Dulux mixer charts will have good matches for the body colours! It just happens to be easy to make OEW..
