first, i was told that it is not an easy exchange only……
i got a ´61 rhd two door saloon with clap hand wiper
i switched my one speed DR2 to a Lucas 14W 2 speed one. Fitted a 90 degree wiper drive gear and use the old wiper gearboxes. I guess the old one´s are 32 tooth type (as most are). It worked so far but it seems that the angel on the screen is to large. The wipers touch the rear of the windscreen and the rubber near the a-post. In a strong rain, one wiper arm switched over the a-post and blocked the wiper system. To prevent this in future, i guess, i have to look for new wiper gearboxes with 40 tooth. Hoping this fixes the problem.
My problem is, which type would fit and has 40 tooth? How to identify the type i am looking for?
Any hints welcome

Re: problem with wiper
have you still got your old wiper box?
if yes you can modify the wiper drive shaft ( which controls the sweep ) to make it all fit.. it is all covered in the marina to minor box sold by ESM, just follow the details for modifying the 150 wiper wheel.
