Sandum
You will need two spire clips ( for each badge ) which push on from the inside of the bonnet. If you use a small socket , you can push the clip over the "stud " part of the badge that goes through the holes in the bonnet.
See relevant page from the Moss catalogue https://www.moss-europe.co.uk/shop-by-m ... minor.html Spire clips are item 12.

Yes, or any similar size plastic tubing........good news is that this can't rust! Can't remember what I used on mine, something suitable I had lying around.................

You may be able to get some plastic 'top-hat' fixings. Here in the UK they cost a few pence each and will afford rust protection. They push into the holes from the outside. There will be a very small gap between the badge and the bonnet but this should reduce the build-up of dirt behind the badge.

or a dab of mastic behind which would also seal up the hole to stop rust

Mine are held on by a lump of silicon sealant on the back. (Previous owner’s work)

But it looks horrible and I’ll fix it when I have time.
