Here's my first draft 3D Model to print the cap for the Moto Lita boss. I measured the original Moto Lita boss and my cap should fit better than the original Moto Lita cap which is too loose.
The 3D printer tends to print slightly oversize depending on the resolution. I can change the size until it fits perfectly. The cap consists of three separate merged solids so I don't have to print the whole cap just to check the size of the lower rings. Once I get the exact ring size the solids are merged back together again as one.
Estimated printing time 5 hours 37 minutes.
Regards
Declan

Very nice. I did some work in 3DS Max years ago (before the merge with Maya). Do you own a 3D printer or are you shopping it out to a commercial printers?
