Re: Petrol Sender Unit
Might have been, had the Morris Minor not been produced until 1948. But somehow I doubt that RR quality would have been used on a cheap mass produced vehicle.
Re: Petrol Sender Unit
This forum concentrates on the later models of Minor rather than the thirties types. You might find someone who knows on the Morris Register site, they specialise in the early cars.

Might be worth asking the question o e Pre War Minor network site. Easy to think only of the Post War Minor but the Morris Minor evolved from 1929 I believe. http://prewarminor.com/

Re: Petrol Sender Unit
Reason I posted on this site as one of my RREC member told me that he got his similar unit from Morris Minor i fact i use to own Morris Miner which i part exchange it with the RR in 1996 and i was myself surprised when the dealer accepted the cheap Morris Miner as a part Exchange but latterly found out the he was after the Number Plate which started with RRM

Re: Petrol Sender Unit
I own both a pre-war Minor and some post war Minors. Although they look the same, the senders are quite different. One good starting point is that a pre-war unit is 6v and a post war 12v.
