I'm fitting a 1275 Midget clutch to a 1275 Midget flywheel, but as I bought the engine sans clutch I don't have the original set screws. I know these are 5/16 UNF, and I think they should be 3/4" length. I'm struggling, though, to find a supplier of hex head set screws in anything greater than 8.8 grade (SAE-5). Will this be adequate - 1275 engine but only intended for sedate road use, no track days or hill climbs!

Re: Clutch cover set screw grade
8.8 Grade high tensile screws will be more than adequate.
If in any doubt order a new set (qty 6) of clutch cover screws from MOSS Pt No: SH605061 @ £0.19 each plus the usual.
