I need to replace the dust cover/gaitor that surrounds the clutch withdrawal lever where it exits the gearbox.
Can someone give me clear instructions of the best way of doing this please, particularly with regard to not disturbing the clutch adjustment setting? Is it simply a case of removing the clutch return spring, taking out the split pin at the other end to release the connecting rod and withdrawing this by wiggling it through the hole in the clutch withdrawal lever, or is it more complicated than that?
