Hello all members,
I have recently installed a 1098 recon engine in my Minor but am lacking a dipstick for oil checking. This item is not currently available from the usual suppliers so I am going to try and have one made locally. I would be grateful if a club member with a 1098 engine could provide me with a measurement of the dipstick blade, ie., part which is inserted into dipstick tube, and also, the measurement for the oil 'full' mark taken from the bottom of the dipstick itself. Thank you, Telpet.
