Whilst you may only have a 948cc engine you do have either the later 1098cc head or if you are extra lucky a 12G295 head.

You have a standard 12G202 head from a 1098cc engine.
The 12G295 head was fitted to MG Midgets ect. see attached list below.
The 12G202 cylinder head breaths a lot better and is an improvement on the standard 948cc cylinder head.
