Thanks for that
I will get a couple of various coloured sets and see what happens when I use them for gauging the mesh.
I will measure them and let you know the thickness against colour.
There is no sign of use on the teeth so I think that the previous owner may have given up and gone back to a chain.
It certainly is not just a bolt on job if the job is to be done properly with an intention of longevity of the set up.

Pictures of the front plate with dowels fitted. The dowels give a very positive location of the front engine plate and I consider that they should have been fitted at the factory - especially as BMC fitted dowels for the rear engine plate.
