You will need to change the oil thrower to Pt No: 12A1148. It is marked 'F' which faces forward.

What timing chain cover have you fitted and does it have the later type neoprene lip seal?

Does it have a breather/oil separator canister fitted?

The neoprene lip seal can be fitted from the outside of the timing chain cover or from inside - either way is correct.

Thanks Phil I’ll get one ordered, I’ve got the neoprene seal fitted from outside of cover. I have what I presume is an oil breather/ separator canister coming from the tappet cover, is this correct ?

If you have the breather/oil separator on the front tappet chest cover I suspect that you have a 1098cc engine fitted.

The breather/oil separator is standard on the 1098cc engine.
