squeaking fuel pump

Post by dudload »

afternoon all,

It's not necessarily an issue (yet), but my fuel pump has recently got into the habit of creaking slightly, more like a squeaky mattress rather than the tick I'm used to. Is this a sign of imminent diaphragm issues do you think?

These units are very strong, but a strip down and check over would do no harm. This is one of those things that may never be a problem or could be a warning of failure. Perhaps it is time to consider a digital replacement.
