We'll be discussing coils that never go wrong next :D

Seeing that image in this context has just made me laugh out loud - thanks for cheering up the day Mike!!!

I'm off to dig out my hammer and cold chisel now. I've got a few stubborn nuts to remove :o

The ghost from Scotland was not adverse to recommending the use of a hammer and chisel to remove and tighten the hub nuts fitted to the Minor 1000 rear axle.

Too true, I shared one or two posts airing the matter, however I was never put on his naughty step! I miss him. :(

never on the step, but once berated me for suggesting the use of an old wood chisel to remove spot welds and rivet heads, saying yes very good and ruin a good chisel ,when I replied "I did say old one Roy" Came back in bold capitals "THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS AN OLD CHISEL" :D :D This forum has never been the same. :(

I bought the engine that's in my Trav from Roy; an 800 mile round trip! I'm glad I met him. A man of great Minor experience and of strong opinions that I didn't always agree with but which I always, always listened to. No question on this site ever went without an answer from Roy!
I still miss, MikeN.
