Armstrong shock absorbers

Has anyone any experience in replacing front shock absorbers on a minor .
Have a 1953 Split Screen ,will all shock absorbers fit ?
1953 - 1971 ?

Only the very early Minors had different dampers (shock absorbers).
The dampers fitted to the front your 1953 Split screen Minor are the same as the later front dampers and are easily replaced. Use the search facility if unsure of the replacement process.

In this respect does anyone know what " recon " covers?
