Hello,
I have a little issue with the fuel pump outlet. It keeps coming out. Does anybody faced this issue before?
Im using AUA66 push on type. Is there any other alternative solution for this issue?
Please share the link if its been discussed before.
Regards
Vik

Re: Fuel pump outlet
Do you mean the push on hose keeps coming off ? If so why not secure it with a clip?

Re: Fuel pump outlet
It does need to be clarified as to whether the metal outlet is coming loose in the pump body or whether the rubber fuel pipe is coming adrift from the metal outlet.
If a new fibre washer has been used between the metal outlet pipe and the pump body it may require the outlet pipe to be nipped up a second time.

Hello Vik
Are you saying the pipe fitting is unscrewing, or that the hose is coming off the brass pipe? The hose needs a clamp on it to keep it in place at both ends, not just a push fit..
I would NEVER just have a fuel line a push fit onto anything.

Re: Fuel pump outlet
It would also need the correct miniature worm-drive hose clips.

Any appropriate size hose clip would suffice, it doesn't have to be a worm-drive.JOWETTJAVELIN wrote: ↑Sun Mar 28, 2021 9:10 pm It would also need the correct miniature worm-drive hose clips.
There are several proprietary brands/styles that would suffice.
My image above shows one alternative band style and there are at least two Spring Clip options. Some clips are better if there is a lip or recess around the solid pipe, but so long as it's a good tight fit, it doesn't really matter.
