Hello,
for reasons of getting-things-to-fit, I have to fit a slave cylinder to my smooth 950 box. Drilling and tapping out the lugs already on the box is the easy bit but how/what do I use to push/move the actual clutch lever? Has anyone got a photo of the set-up? Is there a specific part number for an push(?) rod?
Thanks

Re: fitting a clutch slave cylinder
You can use the original Minor release lever with a shortened original release rod.
If you have a copy of the Owen Burton Marina to Minor booklet (2nd edition) it tells you all about how to do it.
Cut the rod to 4" approx including the threaded portion of the rod. Radius the non threaded end of the rod so that it fits snug into the slave cylinder. Fit the ball nut to the rod so that the ball fits into the release lever eye.
Adjust lever clearance and the jobs done.
