Rear brake slave cylinders - which are best?

Post by Chipper »

Does anyone have any recommendations for decent rear brake cylinders for the later 1000s? One of mine has seized up, so I shall have to replace it (or both) soon.

Are the Borg & Beck ones any good, or are they as bad as their clutches are latterly reported to be?

I honestly doubt there is any difference between those and the cheap reproduction ones sold by ESM etc. I would be very surprised if there were different manufacturers of pattern cylinders. The picture is not detailed at all. I have the cheap pattern ones on the rear of my car because the so called original ones are not original in any case. The cheap ones have been fine
