MOD Rocker Cover on ebay

Post by geoberni »

If anyone has a former MOD Minor, a Traveller for example, they might be interested in the Rocker Cover that's for sale at the moment.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/174686650501

It's stencilled OMD 75, that's the MOD name for Oil Mineral Detergent type 75, the first generation 10W/30

Even if you don't want the cover, it might be worth noting that at least some MOD MT sections would have marked their engines thus.

Not only would they have marked up for the oil but also have a plate attached to the block giving the bore and bearing sizes.

If no one wants it at present perhaps Bryan should buy it for the club spares?
Then at least when someone does decide they want one they would know where to enquire.
Best wishes,
Mike.

Looking at the original listing I see that the data plate has been attached to the N/S of the rocker cover.

I didn't realise that was the data plate you had referred to. (insert thumbs up Smiley if we had one....)
