Post by stuupnorth »

i
just a quick question .....
planning to remove engine and box soon to replace with rebuilt ones can i /is it possible to remove old engine box as one unit without removing front panel/grill etc have engine hoist and hydraulic ramps to lift the front end up
Image
or is it better to split the old engine and box and refit the new ones as two separate units and join them together in the car
cheers for any help

The engine is easy to take ou of the top, remove manifolds, lh mount tower and radiator then pull it forward and rotate through 90 degrees and it lifts out easily then drop the gearbox out of the bottom.
