Hello all, I currently have a two piece mild steel exhaust on my 68 saloon which has developed a crack in the weld of the silencer box and only getting worse.
I have just purchased a 3 piece stainless steel replacement from esm with a cast bracket fitting kit.
I’m not a mechanic but want to do the swap myself. Could anyone advise the fitting process in regards to order etc? Thanks for your help

Re: Exhaust woes
Usually you would fit it starting from the front, assemble it all loosely then adjust to get a good fit and tighten it all up.
Only other thing is you may need to jack it up by the body and let the axle hang down to get the over axle pipe in.

Make sure you have enough clearance where the pipe leaves the engine bay before you tighten everything up....
