Just refitting the front adjustable shock absorbers after refurbishing front suspension. The lower mounting consists of two rectangular plates which have one radiused corner each (ESM). Does the radius face outwards or inwards towards the engine?
No photos and I can't remember

Re: Memory fade
If this is the kit you are referring to
https://www.morrisminorspares.com/front ... il-p830562
The cut off corner of the rectangular plates it fitted at the top and faces inwards.
If you go an google and seek 'Images of Morris Minor Front dampers' there are several images of the bottom tele-damper mount and the cut offs all face inwards.

Wasn't this a line from a song by 'Tears for Fears'.......
Mind you I could be describing classic car restoration in general.......
Best wishes,
Mike.
