You remove the headlight bezel, then fit the peak between the bezel and light fitting.

- Are they all the same size as these don't seem to fit under the bezel very well?

then struggle to get the bezel back on cause the extra thickness of the peak makes it difficult, then be very careful not to slice your fingers off on the sharp outer edge.... Yes, same as Mini or any other 7" arrangement....

So they should fit snuggly around the outer edge of the bezel then?

There should be a little lip that fits under the front edge of the bezel. I've onl;y ever seen one type of these things and have fitted them to Mini's, Minors, Beetles etc....

From memory I think they are the same although I have not owned a Beetle for a few years now so have nothing to compare - I could be wrong but they look similar as far as I can remember....

I really don't see how these things are allowed on the front of cars - very sharp and first thing to contact any pedestrian.
Yes - there was a comment a while back that these now had rolled edges and were not sharp. I did a survey at a recent car show - and the few sets I found on cars (Minis and Minors) were ALL sharp.

yes I got 3 pairs of these one, has rolled edges, the other 2 are I think the sharper versions, personally I like them so will be putting them on mine, I think in Malta those were the least of worries with all the bonnet ornaments people used to put on bonnets, ranging from flying ladies to arrows! lol :D

Ah yes - that looks better. NONE of tha cars I looked at had that type - they were all razor sharp and very dangerous.

You're quite right, the sharper edged type seems to be more commonly found for some reason :-?
