Both the grill and wheels should be 'Old English White'. If you want to do them with aerosols, get down to your local motor factor and ask them for 'Rover Arum White', it's a very close match.

Paint code for Old English White is WT-3 although as Welung says Arum White is virtually impossible to tell apart and is much more readily available....

LOL bmcecosse, you should see it close up !!its in real need of a respray as the previous owner just tarted it up, the roof had scratches in the middle and just blown in with synthetic, which is now starting to crack and re-rust, other repair areas were just blown in again with synthetic, thus causing me a lot of headaches and a load more preperation to get rid if his handywork as he never prepped the panels properly. The car will be finished in 2k after the car has been primed all over with red oxide then fastbuild primer . dusty
Image
Don't suppose you know where the door mirror came from do you. Have fitted new wings to mt 2 door and don't really want to go drilling holes in them.

Hi bud, the round mirror in question is drilled and bolted through the small quarter panel on the door ( which has a void behind it) the quarter panel is held on by two screws , , i have ordered some from charles wares morris minor centre and they only come in pairs. Price was about £40 but there is a cheaper alternative that is rectangle which clamps on to the drivers door with two screws classed as a overtaking mirror which retails for about £15

speak to either richard, tony or john on the number below

charles ware morris minor centre telephone number is 0117 3003753
this number is straight throught to the parts department and its nice to talk to someone on the other end not internet ordering yuck !!!!

hope this helps dusty :D :D

If you are after originality then OEW was only used to September 1967.
From October 67 the grille would be snowberry white and the wheels would be 'dark silver'.

Personally I prefer the OEW anyway, and achieving a good silver finish on the wheels takes more skill than I've got.

you can get good quality round mirrors which clamp on to the quarterlights, i got mine from ESM, or Evil Step Mother as they are now known following the AIR, for absolutely no reason at all 8)
