Do you think this is an early bonnet or the common later type?[frame]Image[/frame]

has it got a Vshaped backend?
Does it fit right up to the doors or is there a gap?
Does it have Minor 1000, Morris Minor or holes for badges on on the side of the bonnet?
Meanwhile you have posted another photo, it is a 1956> Minor 1000 bonnet

From the profile of the rear edge, I'd say it's the later type bonnet, BUT, it's the not so common LCV version, (unless the holes for the side mouldings have been filled in).

Thank you Mike.
Spotted it on ebay and thought it may be of interest but could not quite work it out as badges are different and there does not appear to be any side mouldings.
