2 Pack Paint in an aerosol
I need to replace a valance and my car is painted in 2 pack, I can buy a 2 pack aerosol from a local supplier colour matched to the existing valance. Is there anything I need to take into consideration when using a 2 pack aerosol at home.

If its the type that has the built in activator(twist the bottom or ring pull on the base)that has to be released before use you'll have to take the normal precautions when spraying(ask Roy for advice).

Never heard of this - but if you do release an 'activator' then it will be one shot use, then dispose of the can as it goes solid... - and if it contains iso-cyanates then the normal air fed mask etc will apply. Why not just use a normal spray can - the part is not attached to the car so any slight difference in 'sheen' won't be obvious.

Youre right Roy just because its 2 pack on there now doesnt mean you have to use it to touch up.And you have to use the can in one session as you thought.

I think from memory Jawel paints in the midlands do them, and they do have a long "pot life" so the activator must be fairly slow
