Dismantling a 2 Door / Traveler Door

Post by whyperion »

Was there a thread that specifically covered this ?

Is there any specialist/generalist around SW London who can actually weld in the bottom repair sections at a reasonable price once I have stripped my spare doors down to just the door pressings ?

I will be needing a door bottom repair soon. Is it essential to remove and dismantle the door or can it be done in situ? With the door in place the alignment could be checked with surrounding panels as you go.

Remove door card before welding!

You will definitely need the door off to do the welding at its front end but could leave it in situ until then for alignment purposes.
