Traveller Rear Wing

I am about to replace a fibre glass rear wing on my traveller with a steel one to match the other side . The fibre glass has deteriorated over the past five years. What are the pitfall of removing the fibre glass wing and
fitting the steel one? I think there might be a problem getting the old one off. Andy

Well in theory its just screwed into the woodwork.Why do you expect it to be a problem?

Mick,
Just seeing if anyone has had a problem with wood splitting. The screw heads are worn and will not take a screw driver. There are some larger bolt type screws which can be gripped OK. Andy.

Just undo those you can and rip the fibreglass wing off the others carefully.Then get a molegrip on the screwheads.

Fitting your new steel wing is a bit on the tricky side.
There is a definite technique to it to get it to fit.
From memory, Ray Newell's Traveller book has an explanation of what you need to do, written by Steve Foreman.
