Van seat belt mounts
I am just putting the van back together but I cannot find any evidence of inner seat belt mounts Are these usually on the tunnel similar to saloons?
Re: Van seat belt mounts
There should be holes in the floor pan that give you access to threaded plates fixed to the chassis. The belts bolt through to these plates.

Re: Van seat belt mounts
Thanks for the reply. Is this on the flat of floor behind thr seat?
I suspect this van may never have had belts fitted. I have found no evidence to suggest they have been.

Yes the holes are a few inches away from either side of the tunnel, on flat metal behind the seats, quite near the back panel. If you have a very early van the plates welded to the chassis may be about 8x2 inches in size, just big enough to accommodate securing bolts, whereas a later chassis will have a bigger plate to incorporate the seat belt fixings as well.
