So today I cut back the paint to see what's underneath.Vanessa has been painted white most recently, underneath is chocolate brown, which has been sprayed over the original Peat. What I'm curious about is what are the red and green under the original Peat - would Peat have had red primer / green undercoat?
Thanks - the red primer I understand, but I'd expected grey primer. Was green primer used widely I wonder, these days one is used to white or grey primer generally, or is that only the diy market?
Don't panic Rod, I didn't cause them! These were caused by a previous owner when they bodged the rear wheel arch flange with fibreglass. I'm going to buy an orbital sander for stripping the white and brown paint.
