Accident repairs

Post by M_and_B »

Hi Folks

Had an accident in my 1971 post production convertible which has badly damaged the front offside. To help with the insurance assessment I'm want to get quotes and independent views on ease of repair. I live in Cirencester, Gloucestershire and was looking for names of likely repairers/restorers that other members have used with success.

Cheers Mike

Have you spoken to Minorparts of Oxford? Not too far from you (close to Burford), and highly recommended (from personal experience).

the biggest problem you will face is that unless your car is in A1 condition, its value could be under that of the cost of repair so they will write it off ,been there a couple of times, last one was with a campervan, but managed to get them to let me keep vehicle, which I then repaired myself with second hand panels ,good luck with it though.
