Help!
I'm becoming more confused than ever. I've previously posted asking what primer to use and so far no replies.
Now to confound things further I don't know if these new wings should be sandpapered before any primer applied.
Talk about being confused!
Any advice gratefully received.

Re: Painting fibreglass
You can rub the fiberglass wings down so as to create a key for the primer/under coat/top coat or use a propriety fiberglass primer which provides a key between the fiberglass and the primer.
I have used both processes on the fiberglass panels of my Minor and to be honest I did not see much difference except to say that the propriety fiberglass primer was considerably more expensive than wet & dry and free elbow grease.
Once you have applied the primer - applying paint to fiberglass panels is a similar process to applying paint to steel panels.
