rubber buffer front wing/valance

Can someone tell me when the rubber buffer between front wing & bumper valance came in to use & when it stopped,There are 2 off per wing.Its ESM part no EXC131

As far as I know every Morris Minor had these fitted originally. They are often not refitted when the wings are replaced. I think they were secured with a bifurcated rivet originally.

I really had no idea what you were referring to, since ESM don't give overall diagrams. That's the one problem I tend to find with their site, it's a case of know what you're looking for in order to find it. There's no Illustrated parts catalogue to browse to find a 'bit'.

I don't know if there was a time there were no buffers, but I do know only one per side was used fore a long time. Most likely the inner one was added when the larger side light started since that is when some tooling was changed, but a simple hole could have been added at any time.
