Front Van bumper blade

Post by ayr41 »

I fancy changing the front bumper blade on my Van to a Chrome one, looked at Charles Ware who have front bumper blades but they look longer than the one on the van, is there anyone who does the chrome blade for a van, many thanks.

If you really want a chrome bumper, I think you will have to get yours plated. The saloon ones are all longer.

The saloon ones are longer but the painted valance is the same size on both saloon and van, so a saloon chrome blade can be fitted. You'd just have to drill 2 further holes in the valance and fit chromed bumper bolts to secure the new blade. Simple.

Now I’m having second thoughts, do other van owners think it is a good upgrade or should I keep it as original as I can.

I personally don’t like too much chrome on a van. However the van is yours so whatever makes you happy !
