Re Travellers and the closing plate between the timber and floor/chassis rail?
Can anyone confirm that access to the top side of this plate, for Waxoyling, is possible after removing the trim panels at the rear seat/wheel arch top? Or suggest a different approach.

I would apply waxoyl (for this inside box section, I prefer the dinitrol as its thinner)
1. From the front door direction of the sill- after removing sill cover.
2. from the rear, I feed the probe all along from where the rear chassis leg opens into the boot area
3. remove the three screws and try and pry the closing plate down a little to obtain access for a thin tube/ probe to squirt waxoyl .
4. as you say there is a tiny gap between ali panel and boxing plate, squirt the stuff down here.
