Changing traveller rear door lock????

Post by Welung666 »

I've been through all my manuals and I can't find anything about changing the barrel in the rear doors! Can anyone talk me through it please?

Lee there is an almost hidden tiny pin that is tapped into place but how you get it out is another thing, I will see if I can get a photo of one.

Here you go Lee it really is tiny and is on the inner curve of the handle sometimes they are sort of polished and are even harder to see, I imagine it might be possible with a correct size self tapper or similar to grip it so it can be pulled out, and with an eye glass I cant tell if its the split tube type or hollow tube.
Image
Let us know how you get on.

:o Even with a magnifying glass all I could see in that area was a bubble in the chrome, so I've picked it off and it's just casting! No hole
