Hi.
My 1968 minor saloon is fitted with radial tyres 155/80 14, can anyone tell me what tyre pressures I should be running in them? In the manual it says 22psi front and rear but that would be for the standard crossplies.
Thanks.
Neil.

Re: Tyre pressures with radial tyres
This is asked over and over - 30 psi for two up - increase the rears to 34 if carrying anyone in the back.

Thankyou for your reply, I'm sorry if I've asked a question that everyone else knows. I'm a new member & running a morris minor is a new experience for me, I just want to make sure I'm doing it right.

Re: Tyre pressures with radial tyres
Tyre pressures are not critical on a Minor as long as they are equal on each end of the axle. I have been running mine at 24psi all round but I shall try upping the pressures a couple of lbs when the car goes back on the road

If 155 radials - on standard wheels - it must be like driving a marshmallow at 24 psi!!!!!!!! the sidewalls must be flexing terribly! Do the tyres feel hot after a run ?
