Does anyone know of a dye which I can use to colour the very faded (but still sound) red vinyl door panels in my '68 convertible?.
I was hoping to renew the whole of the interior but funds will not run to Newton Commercial prices, I am therefor on the lookout for a suitable pair of black adjustable seats and want the rest of the interior to match.
I will go for Newton Commercial when my lottery nos come up!.
Any help ref supplier would be most appreciated.

Lo, if memory serves me right it is called
"vinyl coat" or similar and should be readily available from any good motor accessories shop. All reports I have seen have been highly complimentary as to its
effectiveness

Thanks Willie, I'll pop out and see what theyve got at Halfords and others.

you could try getting them sprayed but they couldn`t be too porous as then it would look a mess also add PLASTICISERS as thees allow the paint to flex a little.
