Lizzy is about to go in for some work, including an engine rebuild
I currently have a 2 inch carb with a round mini air box wrapped round it. This has been modified so that the intake points towards the front of the car. Engine is 1275 ital.
This works well enough but the modification to turn it round is messy.
So.
What alternative air boxes are a direct fit without this messing about? (I need a take off for brake servo)
new mini air box unmodified?
some sort of metro box?
other....?
which air box?

Re: which air box?
I don't think you mean a 2" carb. 1 1/2 or 1 3/4 perhaps?
Oh and while the engine is out any chance i could have my gearbox back.

Older and more confused than I could ever imagine possible.

I'm not switching to 5 speed yet (enough money spent doing current work) and only 'spare' i have is still my broken second gear one!
